JSAsf WINS GOLD AWARD FOR CIVIC IMPROVEMENT BANNER CAMPAIGN IN SOMA DISTRICT
Soma Grand Light Post Street Banners Helped Brand Development and Neighborhood
November 1, 2008—San Francisco, CA. Jeffrey Scott Advertising has won the Marketing and
Communications Gold Award for its creative work on the Central Market District light post banner campaign.
The creative campaign served dual purposes: helping to beautify and draw attention to the ongoing
improvement of the Central Market Business District in San Francisco, and to brand the new Soma Grand
condominium development located on Mission Street between 7th and 8th streets.
“We are very pleased to receive this award,” said Greg Grannis, Creative Director for Jeffrey Scott
Advertising. “We are proud of the campaign design, we feel that it really stands out among the city’s light
post banners and that it reflects the nature of the area, presenting the district in a great light. As with
many projects, we had to serve two objectives – the Central Market Business District and the client, Soma
Grand. We are pleased that this award honors that work and cooperation.”
